I think it is vital for teachers to understand their skills and weaknesses, to continually improve upon their teaching in the classroom, adjust, and to be flexible to the needs of students.

Some of the skills that I hold that my mentors have made evident to me include:

I believe that teachers make a difference in students' lives ("Every Child Needs a Champion") My goal is to effectively teach learners about how to deal with the challenges they face in their daily lives and to educate them with the curriculum to help them succeed in the future. I want my classroom to be a space where students can feel safe, cared for, and encouraged.

As a student, I always took pride in my work, and worked hard to achieve High Honors/ Some of my Academic Accomplishments in High School include:

  • National, Science and Athletic Honor Society President

  • Mu Alpha Theta Honor Society Vice President

  • Spanish Honor Society Chaplain, English Honor Society Member

  • Smithtown Christian School Rev. Salvatore Greco Annual Leadership Award

I currently attend Grove City College with hopes of one day receiving a Masters Degree in Elementary Education. 

Hobbies and Favorites

Athletics 

  • Basketball

    • In 2022 First Female at Smithtown Christian School (My High School) to Score
      1,000 Points in Basketball.

    • On the Varsity Team at Grove City College 

  • CrossFit 

    • One of my favorite hobbies and communities. ​​​

  • Running 

    • I run for fun with my family, and I have completed several 5k races.

    • I hope to one day complete a full marathon. ​

Adventures

  • Hiking 

    • Always down for a good hike to admire God's creation. ​

  • Kayaking 

    • I love kayaking, it is so relaxing. ​

    • Whenever I can make a video for a school project I do, because I love being creative in that way.
