Why Create Posters/Fliers for Classrooms
-
Purpose
-
Poster 1: Class Rules
-
The first poster/flier I created had the purpose of making visual the rules for my classroom for the students.
-
The purpose of this is to create a friendly, engaging, and affirming environment for students where they respect the teacher and other peers (as the rules are especially outlined in the poster in an aesthetic manner)
-
-
Poster 2: Affirmations
-
The second poster/flier has the purpose of reminding students that my classroom is a safe place where they are encouraged to see themselves as smart, kind, strong, and special.
-
The purpose is to create a positive environment where students value both themselves and others.
